I like the design of the MUC satellite concourse.

Somehow use of satellite concourse configuration is not common among major German airports.

Man, you are such a negative party-pooper!! I point out the smiley face at the end of my comment. In addition, there's no reference anywhere in my comment that claims some kind of 'uniqueness' about Berlin - that's simply your stupid interpretation. I don't see how you can ask others to stop being of a different opinion to yours, and frankly, your negativety is giving me the shits! Seriously, why don't you just shut your mouth (stay away from the airport forums - including the German ones where you annoy people as 'Rohne' user), and keep your opinion to yourself so others can have some fun and look forward to the new airport being built. By now we all know that you don't like any 'Berlin-friendly' comments being posted anywhere. Thank YOU!

I am not making anyone have same opinions as mine, but obviously you try with your command "Seriously, why don't you just shut your mouth stay away from the airport forums - including the German ones where you annoy people as 'Rohne' user"

You can do just the same: shut your mouth and keep your opinions to yourself.

Tricky: The DAF Rohne is the same as the SSC Rohne - me, and not aab7772003!
And the only people who feel annoyed by me in the German forum are some fact-resistant Berlin hypers who don`t want to see the truth.
Think you selected the wrong thread for your pointless accusations, since I didn`t mention Berlin with any word in this one...

I really hope they will respect the schedules.
Of course, the new terminal is going to be reserved to Lufthansa and STAR ALLIANCE Partners, I suppose.
Since MUC will reach about 35 million pax in 2010, T1 still remains under a suitable occupancy rate...

Yes, the expansion of Terminal 2, respectively the satellite, will be build together by Lufthansa (40%) and Munich Airports (60%) and therefore used exclusive by Lufthansa and their Star partners.
Here is an image of the planned construction step which is expected to open 2015.

That's good news but actually they only start the first phase of the satellite. The second phase in which it gets its t-shape will hopefully follow soon.Interesting to see is that they want to integrate the appron control tower into the building. So passengers can watch the controllers working. Also like these huge columns.

MUC is a synonym for quality. In every possible way.

Yes, one of the most modern airports I've been in Europe. Actually among the major ones I've been to (AMS, MAD, CDG, [BRU?]), it's the best. (haven't been to MAD's T4)

Nice pics of the airport here, and wow, 3rd runway, impressive!

That guy in the controllers seat looks a bit young :P always imagined someone in their 40s, with a load of coffee. The airport is great!! Love it.

Edit:
Could someone give me a link to something that follows the architectural scene in Muenchen? Can t find anything interesting - Thanks.
