Yes, LH owns 40 or 60 (don't remember) percent of Terminal 2 actions.

Munich’s new satellite terminal enters ORAT programme before April opening

Development of Munich Airport’s new satellite terminal is entering its final stages, with the Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) programme well underway. The €900 million investment includes the satellite terminal, extension of the apron layout and modification of the baggage sorting system, and is designed to provide a real improvement in passenger comfort and quality of service once complete in April 2016.

Munich Airport streaks ahead of Berlin with driverless trains

On Monday, Munich Airport unveiled its swanky new driverless trains - further humiliating Berlin with its serially derailed attempts to build an air hub of its own.

Munich Airport opens Terminal 2 satellite

"The new satellite increases Terminal 2’s capacity by 11 million from 25 million to a total of 36 million, and it is envisaged that in the first year of operation the new terminal will welcome nine million passengers.

Reached by a four-carriage underground shuttle train from the midfield Terminal 2, the new satellite welcomes Schengen (two carriages), non-Schengen (one carriage) and non-European passengers (one carriage) all of whom use the shuttle via an ingenious passenger separation system.

It means that non-Schengen passengers who currently use Level 5 of Terminal 2 (H Gates) descend to the train and then are processed via the L Gates in the satellite, while Schengen passengers move from Level 4 (the G Gates) to the Level K in the satellite.

Terminal 2 is dedicated to Star Alliance carriers, and the new satellite has five lounges in its Schengen and non-Schengen areas with a total of more than 4,000 sqm added to the existing seven lounges in Terminal 2."

It's nice to see all these developments at my home airport. I used the sattelite building recently and I was impressed.

Maybe now that this large expansion project is complete, they can spend a few Euros for a new British Airways lounge. The existing one in Terminal 1 is the worst on the planet. What is available in the Satellite Terminal?

You are wrong, the lounge is only BA, if they want a better lounge with better service they have to invest money, they only rent the rooms from the airport, what is inside is not airport topic, carrier topic

the new terminal is a extension of terminal 2, which means the complete satelite is co-financed from MUC and Lufthansa, only Lufthansa Group and Staralliance are on this terminal and statelite, means you will find in terminal 2 + satelite only Lufthansa/StarAlliance lounges

I used to be based in Munich, went through in the last year and the BA lounge had changed little from years ago. This is BA's decision entirely to renovate or update the lounges, they solely lease space from the airport. No Airport designs carrier branded lounges fit/finish/amenities that is up to the airline themselves to deal with.

Sat terminal in T2 is LH lounges only, BA is still in T1. T2 is LH and partners (Star, etc)

While I am not sure, whether Lufthansa offers seasonal service to the Canary islands (popular with German tourists), I wonder which carriage passengers have to use.
Canary Islands is Schengen and not in Europe.

Munich Airport announces major Terminal 1 expansion project

"Munich Airport has announced plans to expand Terminal 1, which will increase the terminal’s capacity by 6 million passengers per year. The project involves the construction of a new pier and a central building complex.
The new pier will be linked to the existing A and B modules of Terminal 1 and will extend 320 metres into Munich Airport’s western apron. It will have stands to handle up to 12 aircraft, including two equipped for the Airbus A380."
http://www.futuretravelexperience.co...nsion-project/

Construction work on the apron could begin as early as 2018, while the new pier will go into operation in 2022 at the earliest. (Image: Twitter @MUC_Airport)
