Previstas para terminarem em dois anos, obras de reforma do Mineirão vão custar R$ 771 milhões

Dentro do plano de reforma do Mineirão, um importante passo será dado nesta quarta-feira (28). A partir das 10 horas, as escavadeiras começarão a retirar o gramado que, nos últimos 45 anos, proporcionou alegrias e decepções à torcida mineira. A ação das máquinas será acompanhada de perto pelo governador e candidato à reeleição, Antonio Anastasia, e pelo presidente da CBF, Ricardo Teixeira.

A vistoria de Teixeira faz parte de uma série de viagens que ele fará às cidades-sede da Copa 2014 para verificar o andamento das obras. Nesta terça-feira, ele esteve em Brasília, que, assim como o Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo, concorre com Belo Horizonte para receber a abertura do Mundial. Enquanto não se decide qual será o estádio privilegiado com a estreia da Copa 2014, o Mineirão continua a ser preparado para receber os jogos da competição.

Como o HOJE EM DIA adiantou com exclusividade em sua edição de domingo (25), 14 empresas de grande porte já adquiriram todo o material para concorrer no processo de licitação da terceira etapa. Esta será a fase em que serão feitas melhorias internas e expandida a cobertura, além da construção da esplanada que o ligará ao Mineirinho.

O valor total do edital da obra, que deve começar em dezembro deste ano e ser entregue em dois anos, é de R$ 771 milhões. Desse montante, R$ 654,5 milhões serão gastos nos trabalhos, sendo R$ 426,4 milhões para o estádio (cobertura de policarbonato e melhorias internas) e R$ 228,1 milhões para a esplanada, anexos e estacionamentos. O restante será investido na manutenção do estádio por 25 anos, que será o prazo de concessão que o vencedor da licitação terá para administrar o “Gigante da Pampulha”.

Atualmente, o Mineirão está em sua segunda fase de obras, que consiste no rebaixamento do gramado em 3,4 metros e a demolição da geral. Até esta terça, uma parte da geral já havia sido derrubada, em frente às antigas cadeiras superiores centrais. Além disso, uma rampa de acesso ao gramado foi construída, onde funcionava o bar 16. Outra está em processo de construção para que os caminhões possam entrar por uma e sair por outra.

No total, serão retirados 68 mil metros cúbicos de terra só da parte interna do fosso. Entretanto, quando a terra é remexida, pode aumentar em até 40% seu volume. Com isso, a expectativa do diretor de infra-estrutura da Administração de Estádio de Minas Gerais (Ademg), Ricardo Raso, é que sejam retirados 88,2 mil metros cúbicos de terra. Ainda não está certo para onde o material será levado, mas o mais provável é que seja utilizado nas obras dos piscinões de contenção das águas do Ribeirão Arrudas.

Para retirar todo esse volume de terra, serão necessários pelo menos 11.025 caminhões com caçamba estendida, com capacidade de 8 metros cúbicos. Já o destino do gramado ainda é incerto, e deve ser anunciado nesta quarta por Anastasia. A primeira fase, que consistia na recuperação da estrutura da fachada e da laje, já está concluída.

Due to the Governador Magalhaes Pinto Stadium being closed for reconstruction, the Mineiro and Cruzeiro football teams will relocate to the Independencia Stadium during that time. However, the Independencia Stadium has been demolished and a brand-new stadium is being constructed in that site. Mineiro and Cruzeiro are being put in a real awkward position here.
