Just remembering that the "new" facade will have the marks of the wood used as mold to the concrete because it's important to preserve the historical memory of the stadium...

pretty thing. my favorite 2014 stadium, and the most beautifull town in Brasil, should receive the opening math, but things run very diferent in this country.
hopping for São Paulo to make a great opening, make things that didn´t at now.

Nice design, but not a proper footballstadium. Those brazil projects are a shameful, sorry.
I had wished real temples like a steep 3 or 4 tier bowl and not those far away seatings. |

Not all Brazilian stadiums will look like this one, though. So generalizing is a bit unfair, especially when this harsh. Curitiba, Natal, Cuiaba, Sao Paulo and Brasilia will be much better in terms of bowl shape than Mineirao, which is a really valuable monument, which - at least for me - makes the case to leave its current form alone.
