I don't know what do you mean by para-transit but you can only pay in cash. (Para means money in Turkish)

Data recorders to increase quality of bus rides in İstanbul

The İstanbul Electric Tram and Tunnel Company (İETT), which regulates and controls public transportation in the city, announced they will use the data recorder system in buses to prevent problems faced both from the passengers’ and from the company’s side.

The data recorders, which are commonly found in airplanes and have recently started to be used in other sectors, will track and record the conditions of the vehicles and the drivers, which will function as a source of data.

The system will not only record more than 80 different data sets, it will also analyze them. While the system will collect data on topics such as fuel efficiency, braking frequency, engine temperature and idle waiting time, which will be collected to enhance the efficiency of the way the buses are driven, data such as the ambient temperature inside the bus are aimed at improving the quality of the ride for passengers.

Recently Gülermak, who won bid in İzmir state that they'll use Hyundai-Rotem's made in TR, rather than Durmazlar.

Konya opens tram extension
30 Sep 2015

TURKEY: The first section of catenary-free tram line in Konya opened on September 29, with free travel available until October 31.

The 4·4 km Route 2 leaves the southern end of the north-south Route 1 at Alaaddin and runs east to Adliye, with six stops.

A 1·8 km section in the historic city centre has no overhead wires. The Škoda ForCity Classic 28T trams operating the route are fitted with roof-mounted nano-lithium-titanium batteries that enable catenary-free operation for up to 3 km, and are recharged through the pantograph. Konya procured 12 of these as a follow-on order from 60 trams purchased from Škoda Transportation in 2013

I visited the Söğütlüçeşme terminus of Metrobüs 34 in Istanbul today. I should be the next station of the Marmaray as well and was a former suburban rail station.

As a negative surprise, the Marmaray Söğütlüçeşme station looked like a complete derelict area . What is going wrong here? It should be a crowded interchange station by now!
