I saw him on Good Day LA and he had such a blank look in his face, like he didn't even know where he was.

please no! this guy doesn't even want to expand on rail. he'd rather have rapids and dedicated bus lanes that still only travel 1/3 the speed of convenient grade separate rail transit

Um, WTF? That's a terrible picture of Villaraigosa and it doesn't elevate Moore if that's what you were trying to accomplish. Nice try.

I was a supporter of Walter Moore in last election. I helped deliver many nice yard signs to peoples' homes, and attended a few gatherings. I like the guy.

His plan to get people to move downtown with monetary incentives while wanting to retain low-density city form reeks of ignorance.

lets make LA an American city again? that sounds suspiciously racist considering LA is one of the most diverse cities in the world and diversity is what makes an American city

I was thinking the same thing. How is LA un-American?

Walter Moore is a nice guy, unfortunately I guess there are people that only are supporting him because they do not like the fact Villaraigosa is mexican, and they feel that is un-American? I am personally shocked that there are even people that think this way in our city!
![]() So what, every time there is a white guy running for mayor they are in it to take down the minority that is in office? Are there people so da** stupid to think this way?

Villaraigoza gets the job DONE. Look at L.A. now and L.A. a few years back.

Walter Moore more or less comes out of that "back in my day everything was better in L.A." generation. And henceforth, is trying to send the entire city back to that era. The only problem is... well, cities constantly evolve. If L.A. wants to maintain it's position on the world stage as a major player we don't have much of a choice but to keep evolving. There's some things about Villaraigosa that agitate me and piss me off, I'm not gonna lie. But he's a billion times better than this guy, who attempts to use race baiting as a means of getting elected (who has heard of Walter Moore before the Jamiel Shaw incident? I didn't.) Mayor Villaraigosa pretty much has the future of the city in mind and as a result he's a breath of fresh air since Mayor Bradley. |

Not really. Saying that Villaraigosa "gets the job done" is a bit of a stretch. He really hasn't done much for the city...

I know, but my statement really doesnt apply to any candidate EVER. lol but I would much rather have Villaraigoza on a second term than Moore.
