The airport have been renamed to just Oslo Airport. It would be nice if someone could change the tread title to reflect this change.

What a stupid change Are the other "Major" airports in Norway also going to get this change like Sola and Værnes are renamed to Stavanger Airport and Trondheim Airport?

I'm guessing it's a tactical move. AVINOR/Oslo lufthavn AS wants to make a stand against Torp and Rygge, which are real competition in many target groups. Stavanger and Trondheim don't have any competition iirc.

According to memory, 58A would be outside Schengen (i.e. border control) but not bus. This map may confirm this (58B-58F would be bus), but I wouldn't rely on that.

Bump...

Let me ask you this: would you like me to rename this thread to...

- OSL/TRF | Oslo Area Airports
- OSL/BGO/SVG/TRD/RYG | Norwegian Airports

I can do either option for you.

A new video of the future terminal. The project is on schedule and will open in about 2 years.

OSL has announed the next phase of the terminal expansion, the plan is to expand the non schengen end of the international pier with A380 capable gates. The work will commence in 2017 with completion 2019. This should bring more direct longhaul flights to OSL without the need to transit CPH.

article in Norwegian.

The non-Schengen part of OSL is too crowded today, so that's good news.

Wow....good to hear that Oslo Airport is now the world's first major international airport with regular deliveries of jet biofuel.
