I think the next SC named SimCity6 or 6000. Because Sim city socities is the 5th generation of SC.

After coming back to SkyscraperCity essentially just to revisit this list, I'm highly disappointed that some of the most basic functions in game that I proposed weren't included in this game (SimCity 2013). I believe we should have been at the least been able to choose what city is the Capital of the region, a density map similar to how the Census are, disaster insurance if you included in your city budget, and etc.
But nonetheless I'm satisfied with SC2013 although many improvements are needed, I want more realism and not necessarily in the sense of graphical design but city design. I really would enjoy a feature I'd include called 'City-Planner' that essentially allows those of us whom wouldn't mind designing our city-layout before actually building the city to do it. I remember back when I was at the height of my SC4 playing, I'd draw the city-layout on paper (including streets, where park complexes will be, schools, etc) and try my best to keep on the same plan as I drew on paper.

Signed, although I'm skeptical it'll change anything.
