I think always Iran does a very nice job to keep these old birds flying and yes crashes happens...like in every country...Iran is doing very well on its maintenance otherwise we didn't had those 707s still flying, Iran's planes are old and we can't get spareparts.
so you can't expect it's all perfect.

U.S. is a retard... they have sanctions on Irans aviation.. this is Iranian ppl life that we are talking about.. if they had sanctions on military aircrafts that would be something understandable but what have Iranian ppl done to deserve this. this is BS and the west insists not mixing politics with anything else

The B707s are not still flying. They are grounded after that incident of the contagious uncontained engine failure on one in Ahwaz. They kept running them until they started having major incidents. There is not such a great problem getting parts for Russian aircraft and Fokkers which they should have been replaced with ages ago. Iran Air and Mahan Air do keep their aircraft in good condition but the others not so much.

They can't get parts for fokker since fokker doesn't exist anymore the company was bankrupt in the 90s!....
and they already banned second hand Tupolev aircraft...
the B727s than... they are very old to.
Kish Air was very nice to when I flew with them

spare parts of the fokker are still being built and maintained by a division of fokker that didn't go bankrupt. It was taken over by stork nv and the division nowadays is called stork aviation. (www.fokker.com)
I don't know for sure but probably the EU has also restrictions to Iran? Or not?

I told you all about this before. Fokker parts and servicing are freely available to Iranian airlines from Stork as the Kelvinator says. Pity Fokker didnt make a larger plane. But Russian manufacturers do, but only now have they ordered some new ones. Crashes happen in Iran like in every country but about 10% of all crashes in the world happen in Iran now.

EU dont on aviation but due to the embargoes by america which states a certain amount of american aircraft parts cannot be in new aircraft, it stops them from buying from Airbus due to the quantity of american parts in them
