I couldn't agree more. I know this forum is not a political one but that makes me sick!!!

Trump's speech in Riyadh last week was so much crap. He was accusing Iran of financing terrorism whereas the whole world knows that Shia muslims are not supporting it. And the craziest thing is that he was doing that from the worst dictatorial country ever. Shame on him.

The ony reason why he wants to put pressure on Iran again is to please his Saudi "friends" to secure the 380 billions dollars contracts he just concluded.

To all the Iranian and the moderate people on this forum, please make sure that millions of Europeans do NOT support the US foreign politics!!!!

Donald Duck will do anything for money and/or oil. Look at the show he put up in Saudi. He was kissing and licking their feet all the time. He was even dancing with Saudi men with their traditional sword dance People of the world are not fools. They know exactly what he was up to in Saudi, Israel, and in Vatican.

Iran's Aseman signs final deal for 30 Boeing 737s: IRNA

Aseman Airlines has signed a final deal to buy 30 Boeing (BA.N) 737 MAX jets in Iran's first new business with the U.S. planemaker since President Donald Trump took office vowing to take a tougher stance toward the country.

Aseman and Boeing had signed a tentative deal in April. Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that representatives of Aseman and Boeing signed the final agreement in the capital Tehran on Saturday.

How much did Boeing pay you?
Keeping American competition out of Iran is good for EUrope and Airbus.
We should encourage it.

What are you talking about? He as a European commented something pro-Iran and I'm pretty sure he is German or somewhere from Europe. So why would Boeing pay him?! Fix your english maybe?

Actually, I'm not German. I'm French and I live in Germany (but not for long since I will be moving to Japan soon).

As you perfectly underlined, I was just expressing my feeling and also that of many European people who felt totally disgusted and upset after Trump's speech in Riyadh the other day.

(Not even talking about the current Qatar crisis, which confirms this insane obsession against Iran)

Mitleser, I remind you that US can also block Airbus sales to Iran since there are some US parts in Airbus planes. The opposite is also true but since European firms don't plan to stop trading with Iran, they would not threaten Boeing of something like that.

Lufthansa apparently is going to discontinue its MUC IKA flight for good. After only one year the last flight from MUC to IKA is going to be on SEP 29.

source: Airliners route

FRA IKA remains daily on 744 so far.

"Virtually Full" could be the issue here, it might be full but if not enough seats are filled with passenger paying the full ticket price an airline doesn't make any money. And you don't know how full these flights were on all other days, you can never base the success of a route just on 1 flight.

I don't find it surprising though. After the frantic rush of many airlines coming back to a place you will see a consolidation of the market which does includes routes being canceled again. You will see more airlines making changes again. Some will leave this market completely, other new airlines will come in again.

It takes some time for the market to settle, and there are still hurdles on the way, like the recent new proposed US sanctions against Iran. The Iran market is still far from being a completely open playing field yet. There's a significant risk that the sanctions situation will turn around completely. It's still Trump in the White House and the Qatar situation could still escalate into something that will have a far bigger regional impact.

Unfortunately loads in the premium cabin wasn't good enough, the flight left MUC sometimes with 9 or less pax booked in J however M class had 'okay' loads.
Spoke to a guy who bought his LHR MUC THR fare for 299 Pounds.
Staff travel on this route is pretty much the same.
No wonder they made no 'TOMAN' out of this.

I paid Ł286 for a return LHR-MUC-IKA-FRA-LHR, The cheapest I've ever got a ticket to Iran when it's usually around Ł370. This option was surprising as it was lufthansa which I know to be the most expensive after Emirates. I'm not complaining though, I get to fly on a 744 for the first time tomorrow
