Mahan Air to increase Flights to Germany

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian airliner Mahan Air is to add three new weekly flights to the German city of Duesseldorf this summer, an airline official said on the sidelines of the 43rd Berlin ITB Tourism Fair on Friday.


The privately-owned Iranian airliner which is currently operating three weekly flights to Duesseldorf on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, is to add flights to Duesseldorf on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at the start of summer, Mahan Air Marketing Director Hossein Hosseini was quoted by the Islamic republic news agency as saying.

The Airbus 310-300 aircraft is offering three classes of service to its customers.

Mahan Air includes a total fleet of 23 aircraft, among them Airbus A300-B4, A 300-B2K, A310-300, A320-232, Boeing 747-300 and 747-400.

TURKISH AIR CARRIER LAUNCHES FLIGHTS TO MASHAD

STANBUL (A.A) - 16.03.2009 - Turkey's state-run air carrier said Monday it had begun flights to Mashad, Iran.

The Turkish Airlines will fly thrice weekly from Istanbul to Mashad on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and from Mashad to Istanbul on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The airliner said Mashad was company's third destination in Iran and its 112nd world wide.

I just read in Iran air website that they use the A320 for Paris, Rome & Milan routes
