 Mahan celebrates 4 times weekly Najaf Service MAHAN AIR celebrated the launch of scheduled flights from Tehran to Najaf with its new non-stop service linking the two cities of Iran and Iraq and marking the carrier’s 42nd destination. The new route gives Mahan its third gateway to Iraq, supplementing existing three weekly flights between Tehran and Erbil as well as Baghdad. Najaf is the third new international destination for Mahan Air during 2012 which confirms the airline’s ongoing growth strategy and its long-term commitment to develop its route infrastructure and fleet. Mahan adds frequency to Erbil
As a result of overwhelming response to its services to Iraq, Mahan Air will add the third wide body weekly frequency as of 9 January 2013. This follows the newly launched direct flights between Tehran and Najaf just a few weeks ago. Iraq is a key market for Mahan and will be important focus for the airline in 2013. The added frequency between Tehran and Erbil will enhance the travel options to business customers as well as those traveling for visiting friends and family from both countries. The flights are scheduled to offer seamless connection from Erbil to Mahan Air network in the Far East. |

A320 for Mahan!!!
 Ex Zagros/Khors Mahan is also going to get their first A340!!! Reg.EX-34001 and EX-34002 ex Lufthansa! First flights 1993/94 Quote:

yes we had to wait long time for 340 @Mahan!
I think they could use them for Shanghai routes, it would be great if they started flying to Australia but I wonder if they get fuel there... |
