I would say that is a safe assumption with there being a typo in the heading. At 647 meters, it would to second tallest in the world after Burj Dubai.

Actually whole USA sucks except SanFran and NY.
Finally, I've decided to respond to this. Chicago's architecture alone makes it an interesting place to visit.

I just spoke to the construction company. They plan to curtain wall the top of the building in the next two weeks.

Thanks! Did you catch the cruiseship in the turning basin in front of the skyline on my other threads?

I really hate the glass they chose for this tower, the tone of green looks cheap and outdated, the tower isn't even done and it already looks very 90s. I live in south florida and I passed by this tower a long time ago when they were first starting to clad and I was dissapointed when I saw that cheesy blue and green color scheme, this tower would've been beautiful with better glass.

In my opinion everything looks the same in Florida. The climate is warmer than in
Germany, but sunshine state ? I was there in August, nearly every day thunderstorms.
You would better name Arizona, New Mexico or Nevada like this.

best wishes
LOL....August falls during the rainy season in most of FL. You should have done some research first!!

Everyday you hear people complain about something....geez....get a life, be happy....life is too short....to be complaining about every single thing in life. Just imagine how a blind person feels, not being able to see, the tone of green, cheap and outdated tower, as you call it???? What is wrong with these people.......

Could you please post a color scheme and type of curtain wall that you would have used using another building as an example? I'm sure part of the reason they went with the blue and green color scheme is because this is Miami and we're practically in the tropics. And I love the way this curtain wall reflects the clouds.

They also told me that the hotel component of the building is actually 502 feet which would bring it to 153 meters.

Jesus calm down buddy, this is a site about architecture and skyscrapers, we're allowed to have differing opinions right? we're allowed to speak in minute detail about the intricacies of buildings right? I must be missing the point of the site..I think who has to get a life are ultra-nationalistic posters who get offended when people criticize buildings, is that your building? did you design it? are you gonna live in it? if not then shut up I live here too and I can criticize it if I want to.

And personally, I think the building design itself is great, but I would've chosen a much less satured color scheme like this:

I don't like it! I really hate the glass they chose for these towers. The tone of blue looks cheap and outdated.

I didnt know the shorter of the buildings was so tall! They should have linked the two via a bright funky electric blue skybridge, that would have looked awesome

It wasn't originally supposed to be that tall. Those are the original specs above, but 502 feet tall is what the project manager told me after checking the plans over with me there before the project engineer escorted me to the roof of the office tower.

Notice they've started the curtain wall on the top of the building.
