Brookfield Properties owns a valuable block in downtown houston that it intends to develop into a 50 story office tower.


Brief: 50-story office tower on a 2.5-acre site; all-glass, LEED Gold Certified.

Project Start: Construction to start when the tower is 50% leased.

Floors: 50

Height: 750 - 850 ft.

How long has this been in the works? I dont remember where I have seen this, maybe swamplot.

The Developer, (Brookfield Properties) had plans for this tower for years but, last year was the first time anything remotely concrete has been mentioned about this. Plus recently in January, renderings and new info was posted on swamplot. (Which means you most likely saw this on swamplot.)

I hope they don't build a tower that large across the 45 freeway, unless there is limited space for proposed buildings at Allen Plaza.

^ From that angle it reminds me of a curvy 7WTC. I do like the simple design, nice proposal.
