That's a very depressing looking street though. Are there any improvements planned for this stretch? All it takes is a few beautiful buildings and nice looking sidewalks. Winnipeg has good bones so the potential is there. This museum will surely be yet another dynamite addition to a fairly long list of impressive structures in the city. I'm particularly interested in watching this and the new stadium go up.

This diagram shows how complicated construction is going to be.

also heres a neat video showing where the progress of the cmhr as time goes

It reminds me of another French location: Ille St. Michel off France's English Channel coast.

That credit union just has to go. Hopefully, the new residential block is as sophisticated as this museum, and not just another suburban looking condo tower with tacky elements plastered all over.

The video of the museum is awesome! I'll be watching this one eagerly.

The renders are all very vague, but here's a reminder of what's in store:

Thank you for posting those. They give a far better idea as to what to expect than what I've seen thus far. Looks great.

I really find this design very bad to be honest. Reminds me of Bismark's helmet No offense to the people of Winnipeg but I'm really confused with this building layout and design

Agreed, epic-looking in a good way! Kind of looks like a helmet...but that is stretching it. It looks way more like a concert hall.
