i think the roof is topped out, but there is still a large crown on top, we only consider a building topped out, when it reached its highest point.

nothing is sure with that project yet, not even the 800m+ figure.

but if that tower is planned as worlds tallest, it has to be 1000m+

Wuhan Greenland Center is planned as "China's Tallest", yet it is smaller than Ping-an but yeah hope the project will indeed be that tall and have 200 floors and actually not end as a vision, but yeah it is too early to say anything about the project at all

According to gothicforms skyscrapernews.com...

Pinnacle Height (Above Ground Level)
309.67
Roof Height (Above Sea Level)
312.70
Roof Height (Above Ground Level)
308.50
Top Floor Height (Above Ground Level)
243.80

He tells me that this information came directly from the planners.

I guess we will never know the true height of the Shard, unless someone shoots a laser up there.

Unless I see some revised section drawings that show the The Shard is 310m instead of 306m above ground level, then I will believe skyscrapernews. So far I am sticking with the 306m figure taken from the section drawing that I reviewed.
