http://www.utusan.com.my/utusan/Kamp...-yang-ditepati

SIBU 16 Sept. - Penubuhan Universiti Kolej Teknologi Sarawak (UCTS) bukan didorong faktor pilihan raya sebaliknya bersandarkan faktor kritikal iaitu janji ditepati, kata Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Emart One Stop Shopping Mall ready by end of 2013

KUCHING: The proposed Emart One Stop Shopping Mall in Batu Kawa here looks like it is going to be a winner. Even before the ground- breaking ceremony was performed by Padawan Municipal Council chairman Lo Khere Chiang yesterday, 49 of its 99 units of three-storey shophouses have been sold.

The project is a joint venture between Emart Group and Jong Jui Ling Construction Sdn Bhd, but its construction is handled by Soon Hup Construction Sdn Bhd. The whole project, which is scheduled to be fully completed by the second quarter of 2014, is divided into two phases.

Phase 1 comprises Emart One Stop Shopping Mall, which is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2013. The mall, which will span 8.9 acres, will be 75 per cent air conditioned, and will boasts over 300 retail outlets, a halal food court, and a supermarket. Phase 2 focuses on three-storey shophouses which are expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2014.

Emart Group said this proposed project, which is located in a fast developing area 41/2 miles from the city centre, is their largest to date. Over the years, Emart has weaved itself into a shopping giant capable of meeting the needs of consumers from all races by offering a wide array of goods.

The Group is now eyeing Sibu, and Emart One Stop Shopping Mall in Sibu is slated to have 83 three-storey shophouses and 22 five-storey shophouses. If everything goes according to plan, this proposed project will be opened for booking in the first quarter of 2014.

For more info about Emart’s three-storey shophouses in Batu Kawa, call Foo at 013-8379101, Jeremy Sim (013-8379755) or browse www.emart.my.
