Hey guys, I was on Saint-Denis yesterday, 1200 km round trip by car for 3 friends and me.

Before talking about undersoil heating, just ask how no one (the 6 nations Comitee, the FFR) could predict this fiasco, while everybody knew since last week that it would be very cold saturday night, while in the same time most of the matches of Top 14 and Ligue 1 were advanced to the afternoon.
Instead, it was not until 5 minutes before the kick-off, once everyone who bought a ticket was in place, that the decision is made.

It's time that institutions of rugby look something other than their navel.
The tickets will be repaid, ok, but what about the travel, the hotel ?

A big thought to the Irish fans who came from far for this game. Beside us, there was a couple from Cork who has booked his week-end in Paris for the Valentine's day and his travel by flight for 6 months.

What's the point in quoting the pics over & over again...it really is annoying...

Now I agree that the match should have been called off earlier...postponing it at the very last minute is an insult to all those people who have sometimes travelled from very far to attend the match. Who's gonna reimburse the plane/train tickets, the hotel rooms & so forth...nobody. The Stade de France organisation should be ashamed!!! I was boiling in front of my telly, but if I had been in the crowd, I'd have been revolted.

Thanks !

  • Point n°1: Take a look at the date(if not the year) regarding when I stupidly and repeatedly dared to post those lists....
  • Point n°2: Take a look at the "'updates" between each list... those "updates" may look thin as seen from e.g. your eyes, but significant as seen from e.g. mine...
  • Point n°3 about the last time I quoted those "annoying lists": It was in order to avoid an endless Trollaxel monologue.
  • MAIN POINT: In case you didn't notice, dear, we are here is the "Stadiums and Sport Arenas" section.... in a thread about an annual tournament.... so... Please, tell me what's wrong with a photostream, year after year of the venues of this tournament.... Oh wait.... that's exactly the purpose of this SSC section actually, whatever the threads !!!!

Non mais !!!

Since the Olimpico pics are old and PdP knows it, some recent pics from yesterday match in Rome. It was a near sold out, too bad I couldn't find a pic of the stadium during the game.

Hey, I think I added one in my latest "annoying photostream"...

Oh, and only the aerial pic of the Olimpico is "old" (I know )... But I really like this pic... But if you have a more recent aerial pic.. then, feel free to post it here !!!

Tell me more, tell me more !

(Don't answer here my dear Axelillois, I mean, I know you don't have a clue of what rugby union is, but Arena92 has nothing to do with the Six Nations Championship... ! But, but, but feel free to troll the Arena 92 thread.. I promise I won't read your posts, I really won't ! )

You need to learn to accept criticisms, especially if they are funded, & in that case they are. I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one to be annoyed with those quoted pics... Full stop for me, I don't mean to waste my time in a meaningless debate.
