![]() *elbows Dock to go and get photos* I think you were right about Blackburne, Dilaz. I still haven't heard anything back from them.

You know the place to take the photo from? If no - go the carpark across the road and 2nd floor from the top. (Top floor has some construction work blocking the corner).

Aside from taking a photo from the carpark, one from the front of the actual site on the street level would be great too. If you have the time and the inclination

I can imagine a time lapse camera on this site - it slowly rises while the Waterfront Project in the background is completed, Miss Maud's changes hands nine dozen times, Equus is completed, becomes a rundown inner city slum, then is pulled down entirely for another development, airborne vehicles become common place, people evolve to a higher species and leave the earth, THEN Zenith tops out.

Huge yellow crane on Murray St today doing something with this site (possibly assembling a tower crane?). Will check it out at lunchtime.

Blindfold's close proximity to the site. It's pretty cool being near a construction site and seeing it change and progress over time. I'm across the road from one now but it's not entirely the same.
So Blindfold, what did you see yesterday on your lunchbreak?

I used to go down that way on my lunch break as there's a cheap eat out on the opposite corner just past Miss Maudes.... Also liked to go in and watch Cinema City being pulled down, that was good to watch over the last few weeks of it standing up, esp the ones just before the whole thing vanished from the streetscape....Nevertheless Yes, it would be nice to know what happened yesterday lunch break

Are you suggesting that Miss Maud's should have a timelapse camera? I would think it is a timeless thing to put on the site or on Miss Maudes as maybe 1/3rd of the video would be worth watching and the rest would be needing deletion, and that is said in comparision only by the judgement of the site progress so far. Commented on the airborne vehicles too on Equus thread, was looking for an example to support your idea of landing airborne vehicles, but then I realised i replied in the wrong thread when I submitted it. Yes, you could probably land light airborne vehicles on the roof of Equus and other bldgs which have long run way like roofs

It seems to have picked up some pace. Here are some 'time-lapse' pics since they began being taken from the carpark opposite...

Sorry Mensie - couldn't get one from street level. But the works are still below street level FYI. The photo is a bit dark - that is mainly because of the shadows plus the amount of reo.

At what point does this change from being a development at the site works stage, to a development that is considered under construction?
