Mauro Martins thank u for these nice words
cubanito92, pics are taken in march-april, but Terminal 3 (D) is almost finished inside and it lets all these testing procedures to be held, exterior is the last phase, but inside they already started to check all systems. Terminal 2A (E) supposed to be opened in 2010, but the last info is end 2009, because the building is ready, now they will start to do inside works. Hope SVO-3 will be really convenient terminal, and will be very useful hub, as they plan, because they want to follow all the best hubs in the world, so the connection flights time started from 35 min and up.

What will be the total capacity of these 3 combined after the expansion?

What's it right now?

And how much of it is utilized?

At the moment Sheremetyevo (1,2,C) serves 15 million per year, terminal E that is under construction will have capacity of 6 million per year, SVO-D will have a capacity of 10 million, so its about 31 million per year, actually all terminals from A to F will have capacity about 35 million when all work will be finished. At the moment only one of these three terminals is operating, terminal 2 (F). All 3 terminals will be connected into common zone and Sheremetyevo plans to become a hub, their strategic aim is to become the best hub in Europe in terms of passenger service till 2015. If we talk about Vnukovo (VKO), now it serves 8 million, future new terminal that will be opened by the end of this year, will have a capacity of 20 million. Domodedovo (DME) served 20 million during 2008, due to crisis they delayed a construction of new international terminal 2. All together 3 Moscow a/ports served 43 million passengers during 2008. Welcome to Moscow!
