Construction of T2 in DME is going to start this spring, and SVO3? Well we dont have SVO3, its called T-D now, and works started in 2005, completed in 2009...

Transaero S11 US Operation Changes

Transaero is adjusting operational aircraft on its US service for Summer 2011 season. From 27MAR11, 2 weekly Moscow Domodedovo – Miami service to be operated by Boeing 747-400, replacing Boeing 777-200ER. Current 3 weekly Moscow Domodedovo – New York JFK Boeing 747-400 service switches to Boeing 777-200ER.

From 30MAY11, there is a 4th weekly service being added to New York JFK

Moscow Domodedovo – Miami

UN888 MIA1740 – 1230+1DME 744 36

Moscow Domodedovo – New York JFK

Arkia launches Tel Aviv – Moscow Domodedovo service

Israeli carrier Arkia today (04MAR11) launches Tel Aviv – Moscow Domodedovo operation, on board Embraer E195 aircraft on Mondays and Fridays. Starting 29APR11, the 2 weekly flight will change to larger capacity Boeing 757-300 aircraft.

Arkia is the 6th carrier operating scheduled service between the two cities. Planned schedule as follows:

IZ311 TLV0855 – 1355DME E95 15
IZ312 DME1455 – 1750TLV E95 15

Subject to Government approval, Transaero plans to resume 2 weekly 747 or 777 service to Los Angeles, marking the airlines’ return to US West Coast market after 13 years of service cancellation.

Sheremetyevo International airport and Royal Air Maroc have opened a regular direct line from Russia to Morocco

March 15th 2011, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), national carrier of Kingdom of Morocco, has opened regular flights to the International airport Sheremetyevo on a route Casablanca (Morocco) — Moscow. Inauguration of flight has taken place in a zone of an arrival of Terminal E (SVO-E).

Ambassador of Kingdom of Morocco in Russia, first officials of the airline and Sheremetyevo airport, and also representatives of the tourist industry have taken part in ceremony.

Flights Casablanca - Moscow will be carried out 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from the airport of Mohammed V (Casablanca), in Moscow – from Terminal E (SVO-E) at Sheremetyevo departing at 17.05 Moscow time using Boeing-737. In the long term the airline plans to carry out flights Casablanca – Morocco daily.

New flight Casablanca – Moscow becomes the first direct regular route connecting Casablanca and Moscow. Earlier flights to Casablanca were carried out through Malta and other transit points.

Aegean Airlines is launching service to Moscow in Summer 2011 season. From 29APR11, it’ll launch 4 weekly Athens – Moscow Domodedovo and 2 weekly Thessaloniki – Moscow Domodedovo (increase to 6 weekly from by late-July 2011) route.

The 5th Anniversary of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Wind Jet Cooperation

On March 22, 2011 Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Italian airline Wind Jet celebrate the fifth anniversary of their cooperation.

On the occasion on March 22 check in area of the airline in Domodedovo airport will be decorated with a balloon arc of Wind Jet corporate colors while passengers of the airline’s flights will be given presents.

Wind Jet connects Moscow with six cities in Italy. The first destination where the airline began to operate flights to became Forli - the capital of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. The most productive collaboration year was 2007 when Wind Jet launched flights to Verona, Catania and Torino. In 2010 Wind Jet expanded its route network from Moscow Domodedovo Airport adding two attractive for both tourists and businessmen destinations – Pisa and Milan.

Thus, passenger traffic of Wind Jet and Moscow Domodedovo Airport increased by 14% last year to more than 50 000 passengers. The years of cooperation between airline Wind Jet and Domodedovo airport saw more than 195,000 passengers served.

Wind Jet based in Catania Fontanarossa Airport was established in 2003 to operate both scheduled and charter flights.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia providing 44% market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow Aviation Hub. In 2010 22,3 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services. More than 70 air carries are partnering with the airport while both Russian and foreign airlines are among them. Domodedovo Airport has been chosen for operations to Moscow by member airlines of three world aviation alliances: Star Alliance, oneworld and SkyTeam.

UN will start LED-PEK,Iggis, could you confirm it?

Pity Rossiya cancelled it....now HU and UN will compete for travellers between LED and PEK.
