Rumor:

SU is planning SVO-CAN (767,thrice weekly) and SVO-SYX(332,twice weekly).

Seemingly SU is booming in business connecting China and Russia/europe!

Hope this time SU will not cancel CAN again...we know that SU did it for several times...

Nice to see UN and SU compete in moscow-sanya routine!

Great! Now SU has five destinations in China: PEK,PVG,CAN,HKG,SYX

If possible, I think URC is a good choice even if CZ has this routine.

Ministry of Transport Resolves for Construction of a New Runway at Domodedovo Airport

According to an official statement of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated May 25, 2011, a resolution was adopted to construct a new runway at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

The new runway will replace existing Runway-2 to be decommissioned in 2015 due to its forthcoming reconstruction.

The resolution made pursuant to the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation following the meeting devoted to the development of the Moscow Transport Hub that took place on 28 March 2011. The resolution underscores the importance of Moscow Domodedovo Airport as one of the pillars of the Russian transport system and the largest airport in the Eastern Europe.

The runway will be about 1800 m east of existing Runway-2. According to the Ministry of Transport evaluation, the new runway will allow the airport to reach the planned capacity up to 50 million passengers a year, and up to 110 million passengers a year for the entire Moscow Aviation Hub. In 2010, Domodedovo Airport served about 22.3 million passengers.

As part of the public-private partnership, Moscow Domodedovo Airport will finance the preliminary works related construction of the federal facility.

I guess it'll be more expensive, with AFL you can buy 1 ticket via Moscow SVO, but if u use Vladair you need to buy 2 separate tickets, Vladavia use VKO airport, and yes they use Airbus A330-300 on VKO-VVO route. You can find prices and info here: http://www.vladivostokavia.ru/en/passengers/

RT ticket from Moscow to Vladivostok costs aroung 950 USD, using Vladavia.
