Security measures in russian airports are much more strict than any european airport, u even need to take shoes here everytime u enter security zone, in european ports its rare. I dont know who writes about it, but all security systems are efficient, sometimes its even annoying, i like flying throughout Europe because its easy, in Russia it takes some time to pass all controls.

Actually in Europe all measures are the same as were in DME, you can freely enter Barajas airport in Madrid or Frankfurt, you wont find any additional measures, can you? You never know when and where it can happen, terror attacks had place in London and Madrid aswell, but it didnt affect their airports to increase security. In Madrid there was a blast on Atocha station, and? No scanners there at all at the entrance.

But at the moment they check every passenger who enters the terminal through scanner.

Great news. I guess the traffic between Baltic countries and MOW/Russia is increasing. New routes to Vilnius prove it.
