Yes, it will be since Dec 2012, currently only 4 gates at right are for international flights.

They entered during the economic crisis climax and didnt stick around for too long. My friend flew LAX-ORD-SVO R/T for $450.00 tax included. They were loosing money with such prices with such small pax numbers. They needed to stick around for longer as UNITED did.

I wonder why Canada Air does not start Toronto - Moscow?
Maybe when they get their 787. AC is a very unique airline with strange view on the market. They don't fly anywhere outside of western Europe. The only oddball destination is TLV. Than again, I think they flew to LED from YYZ. I am sure they don't have any spare 767s, so they are just waiting to get their 787s. That's how AirTransat was born... Back in the late 1980s they came up with an airline to chase the markets not served by AC.

Flight Moscow-Bangkok for Royalties

14.09.2012

On September 14, Moscow Domodedovo Airport met Her Royal Highness, Princess of Thailand Chulabhorn Mahidol. The Princess, who has a doctorate degree in organic chemistry, came to take part in the opening ceremony of the International Conference "Catalysis in Organic Synthesis", and to visit the celebration dedicated to granting her a degree of Doctor of Science of the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship.

A representative of the royal family arrived in Moscow by a regular flight of the national carrier of Thailand Thai Airways, which has been a partner of Domodedovo Airport for a long time. The first flight from Moscow to Bangkok was performed on November 1, 2005; over 476,000 passengers were transported in less than seven years.

Royal luxurious gilded capital of ancient Siam is always quite popular among Russian tourists: in high season (November-February) more than 25.4 thousand passengers get from Domodedovo Airport to Bangkok by Thai Airways. Trip to Thailand which is a Khmer legend Ayutthaya frozen in stone, white sandy beaches and the Indian Ocean, can make even a short vacation unforgettable.

It signifies an increased pax capacity for Vnukovo which just reopened and is trying to gain its share among other Moscow airports as it struggled due to various reasons in the past. Also the fact that there is a widebody service on medium haul.

Shall i break it down further or is this good enough?

Sorry mate, it wasn't that post I was talking about. Some idiot posted pictures of Air Algerie uniforms from over the years in nearly every thread. They've since been deleted. Iggis' post is perfectly fine!

I love The Three Airports Idea!!! I've been to SVO-1 in 2001 and it does though kind of suck but I the service quality has improved in my 2012 flight.
