Interesting, why they don't made even 1 flight from MUC to VKO?

Etihad down to 2 daily (A321/A320) from 29th March - no B789 as planned from June.

Qatar replaced B788 with A320 since a few weeks.

Cathay will cancel its 3 weekly HKG-DME A340-300 service from June.

LH reduces MUC-DME from 3 daily to 2 daily. FRA-DME remains 4 daily and FRA-VKO 2 daily.

How is the gate numbering at VKO Terminal B? I'd like to know the jetways and the bus gates are numbered.

Nothing. Well, except for the three Ilyushin 96s that were put out of service a year ago.
SVO has a serious problem with parking space in southern terminal complex (D-E-F), there's a lack of it - a problem that Aeroflot officials have been complaining about a lot lately. It's going to be this way till the end of 2017 when the first terminal of the new northern terminal complex is expected to be launched. That's how it looks in SVO museum:

I have more and more the impression that the long term planning is bad at SVO. There was the chance missed to develope a central terminal complex between the two existing and the new runway under construction.
Wouln'd it be better to operate one complex only and drop the southern complex?

There would have been several advantages:
  • Aeroflot settled at the central complex, would avoid a large number of runway crossings
  • All airlines in one complex would make interchanging easier
  • Operating only one complex don't needs trains under the runways
  • One Aeroexpress station for all terminals

Now it is to late, a lot of money was spent and it would be a shame to drop the new terminals.

A further chance was missed to create the northern complex as boarding satellites.

Here some ideas to improve the situation with relative low budget.

Two opportunities to create more parking positions. For #2 the buildings need to be resettled.

An idea to use the northern apron with southern terminals. Create two or more road tunnels. Passenger buses, luggage vehicles etc. can get to the northern apron without disturbing the aircraft taxiing. Aircraft don't need to be tugged after or prior service.

I'd think that jetbridges should be used more efficiently. Planes shouldn't be parked for a long time. If the plane has a big parking time, it should be towed to the place in the apron and don't stand at jetbridge.

Totally agree with the first picture plan. Terminal D for the first time must be twice bigger with its "clone" located in the left of existing part. And I think that expansion of northern apron will give a chance to close T-F for renovation, so flights from F should be moved to T-D (a former domestic part) and T-E and follow the plan which was presented in 2010 (!)! The part of flights in T-E now must fly from T-D and the half of F flights must fly from T-D and E! But some exceptions should be done. For example, it's better to keep Barcelona and Madrid flights in D. Even Barcelona because of a big passenger traffic on this route.
