we have TWOX 2000ft megatall telecommunication towers rising atm both will eclipse current tallest-553m CN Tower.
they will be become 2nd and 3rd self supported structure in the world behind Burj Dubai!

If the tower in Guangzhou is looking like that, it is pretty nice.

And the "gravity ride" if that is what it sounds like...that would be a freaky experience ... tho maybe not as freaky as the roller coaster on top of the Las Vegas tower.

CN Tower had the crown for more than 30 years. It is ok to pass it on.

To the CN Tower - it's been a great ride and a heck of a view!

Cheers, m

Sure, why not. Mods have power of decision. However, it doesn't quite keep with the format of the other threads. Maybe a sticky?

It took 30 years for CN Tower to be eclipsed. And now there's a new one that eclipses it every few months!

So this is about TV towers. And took 41 years for ESB to be eclipsed. We don't need a TV tower in NYC but it would be nice to have one. We should build on across the river in Brooklyn that way it would stand out.

Just a question someone know the exact height of the GZ TV tower ? 610.00 m ? the Sky tree is 610.58 m precisely, not 611 m in his thread.

GZ tower is exactly 610m. and skytree is 60cm taller at 610.6m.

Once the Shanghai Tower and the Pentominium are finished, they will be on place 4 and 5! So the List will look like this

1-Burj Dubai 818m
2-Shanghai Tower 632m
3-Pentominium 618m
4-Tokyo sky tree 610,6m
5-Guanghzhuo Tv Tower-610m
6-Abraj al Bait 595m

and so on....please correct me in pionts i am wrong....

EDIT: btw i don't get the whole "new self supported tower thing", because imo the BD is now the tallest self supported tower, so your diagram should include at leats one tower that is UC and will be above 818m tall.

Great work Cul, I think soon you can add Pagcor tower in your diagram if you see the last news about it.

Both supertalls are very beautiful. I cant believe they are twice the height of Eiffel and Tokyo towers...
