There's nothing to remind anyone anything of the mediterranean, no mediterranean feel... its so so far away from it.. i don't really know the reason you say that wrong thing, there's no village so opposite to the mediterranean feel, style, climate, etc... If anyone tell me a place absolutly diferent to de Mediterranean, i would say: Soria of course

Nice town.
I was there some years ago and I fell in love with the city. The big issue are the roads, cuz is very isolated from the rest of Spain, but the city itselfs its gorgeous.

you would be surprised how a country can be so so different, mediterranean feel, architecture, climate etc in the mediterranean coast, the rest which has no coast have another climate, architecture, etc...
I wish all Spain were mediterranean because of everithing, but.. only the 'Mediterranean coast' is... so the rest is nordic and castilian

I totally disagree with you Zazo, the whole Spain is mediterranean, althought there are several differences between the north and the south, the east or the west, we still having a common behaviour and a common culture.

I guess you think being mediterranean means living in white little villas, being tanned or play the guitarre, but Italy, Greece or Croatia are also mediterranean and they are really different to Spain in terms or arquitecture, food or traditions.

Santander is the typical mediterranean city...mediterranean are the people of the mediterranean, not those who have never see the sea and so everything is different, another thing is to haver a roman-latin culture..¿ha eso te refieres?

Not the whole Spain is mediterranean. The north coast of Spain has an oceanic clima. Soria, for instance, is around 1000 m over sea level and could be really cold in winter time.

Anyway, great pics and thanks for showing them

Yes, the atlantic coast has oceanic climate, while the central plateau has a continental type of climate, or continental mediterranean if you want, with dry hot summers and cold winters, much more extreme of what you get on the mediterranean coast. Temperatures can go from 40ºC on a summer midday to -5ºC and even -10ºC on a very cold winter night.

Soria isn´t very hot in Summer althought can be sme hot days, but not is tipical. In winter, soria is one of the coldest cities in spain. Came to visit Soria. Is a beautiful and small pretty city.
