Ukraine is not involved in either assembly or sales or anything else, so their crisis doesn't affect Sukhoi in any way.
As for sanctions, it's really hard to say. There were no orders for SSJ from those countries that imposed sanctions against Russia. But there've been rumours about possible negotiations with the UK-based CityJet. Of course, it remains unknown how current conflict between Russia and the West may have affected these negotiations if they actually took place.

VLM has been confirmed. First planes are to arrive in half year's time.

I am very happy for both Sukhoi and VLM. This shows that the SSJ's strengths are strong enough to attract customers from Europe.

I really wish that Air Serbia would be the next customer...

I hope they were going to take the landing gear lock pins out before takeoff.

is it four wheel boogies, it kind of looks like two separate two wheel boogies but the perspective gives the illusion of four wheel boogies.

This is really good news. I hope to see them soon. And the purchase rights for ten extra ones. I hope that the new VLM will do very well.

All right, question:

As part of my continuous work on improving and optimizing the forum, would you want to see this thread be combined with the other Russian aircraft manufacturers, namely Tupolev and Yakolev? I mean, Sukhoi produces a wonderful aircraft with the SSJ-100-95, but I want to have greater representation for other, related aircraft companies and themes...

I would not like to see mergers because I consider the SSJ thread to discuss production, news, and development, and the other threads are more more posting pictures. Both threads have their distinct functions.

So, how would you like me to split the Russian aircraft threads:

- Sukhoi (this thread): stay as it is now
- Tupolev (no thread): create it, alongside with Yakolev

Is that better?

There is a Tupolev thread already, but it's lying dead several pages back because nothing is happening there.
There's not much to talk about really. There is Sukhoi with SSJ and soon there's gonna be Yakovlev with MS-21.
