Unfortunately, it seems sanctions are also involved in this as well, there seems to be a delay in the delivery of the SAM146 hot sections from Safran as well.

The SSJ100 needs to turn its eyes to Asia and Latin America, it is affordable, reliable as a tank and with cutting edge technologies.

I foresee a future with Cubana for example, they would be a perfect match for route expansion with the embargo about to become history.

I'm not sure sanctions have anything to do with that. All components needed for engines are available per se, but their production plans have shrunk. I'm guessing you're wrong with the cause-and-effect link: it's not the suppliers who are causing troubles, it's Sukhoi who is correcting plans downward.

VLM postponed their order to QIII 2016. 95090 and 91 go to Aeroflot.

yes, officially, they told journalists they are waiting for LR version, not only for the long range capacity, but also for the steep approach aibility (they want surely to use them in LCY)

The aircraft is already able to be used in that fashion but has not received European certification in that variant which is what the delay is.

I don´t really know the performance track considering seating capacity in equivalence to milage and fuel consumption compared with Mitsubishi, Embrear and Bombardier equally sized aircraft, but i really like this airplane !

Rumour that Cityjet in Ireland are giving this bird the run over. Not for the first time.

Seemingly they want to lease the first tranche so Sukhoi need to come up with an appropriate financial package first. Cityjet and VLM had the same owners until recently but are now separated, perhaps the VLM pair are intended to be leased to Cityjet????

But it appears that Falko will acquire and lease the planes to Cityjet rather than VLM. Cityjet appear to think that a good deal is in the offing but this is all that has been published so far.

Not necessarily 15 Sukhois but Cityjet typically have one class of jet and one class of turboprop in service at a time and their RJ85s are getting old now.

Given Mr, Byrne’s comments and the fact that in 2014 Falko apparently signed letters of intent for up to 24 Bombardier C-Series, the CS100 model which was mentioned at the time could come back into play although it must be stressed that no firm order has been signed.
However Bombardier have a very large order backlog. Falko have _some_ more modern Embraer E170s which are allowed in London City Airport. Most important to Cityjet. But if they are considered 'too old' ???

There are rather few Superjets out there compared to Embraer E jets of which 1100+ have been produced. BUT the production line is relatively quiet.
