Speed up the 44.5 km electrified double tracking from Hatyai to Padang Besar after KTMB offering Hatyai - KL Sentral - Jahor Baru Sentral which allow the connection from Hatyai to Singapore
the only section that need land exappropriation is km 796 at Thung Moh commune, Sadao district due to the issue of sharp curve so the max speed of 160 kph can be realized even though 120 kph for passenger train and 90-120 kph for heavy cargo trains will be practical speed with elevated track between Ban Phru and Klong Ngae across Kanchanawanit road while dealing with 33 level crossings.

After Hatyai - Padang Besar electrified double tracking has been realized - the next on the line is the electrified double tracking from Hat Yai to Songkla the way to revive Hatyai - Songkla line

Big Pom complaining: the interest rate attached for the loan of Thai - China railway is too high - 4% per year instead of 2% per year

Mayor of Udonthani city along with those private sectors and those common men who live in 23 neighborhoods along the railway line around Udonthani city have pressed the 7 demands on the issue of the second section of Thai China railway from Udonthani to Nong Khai with max speed for passenger trains (EMUs) at 200 kph and max speed for cargo train at 120 kph with the price tag of 235,325 Million Baht to be done in 2022 as well as 170 km double tracking from Khon Kaen to Nong Khai wiht max speed for passenger train at 160 kph

1. section within Udonthani city should be elevated just like Khon Kaen city and the future Udonthani station for Thai - China railway - need to follow the elevated Khon Kaen station model
2. the canals along and across railway line must be dredged wider and deeper to deal with chronic flood during rainy season.
3. the land exappropriation should be in use ONLY the cases truly in need including the curve correction for better speed and paid according to market prices.
4. Nong Takai should have a container yard for Thai - China Railway - and all cargo trains as well as goods trains must make a stop at Nong Takai while Udonthani station within Udonthani city should be exclusively for passenger trains so the commercial development around Udonthani station yard can be proceeded while they can load container trains with rubber products from factories in Udonthani at Nong Takai instead of loading at Nong Khai.
5. the low level of the elevated track should be a green space for Udonthani city.
6. the parking space for bus, minibus or other mass transit systems (trams, aircon buses, vans) should be separated from all other parking space for private owned automobiles around Udonthani station yard.
7. the new access road (AKA new Rotfai road) to connect with Poo Yah shrine should be constructed - the existing access road to connect with Thong Yai road is no longer enough.
