HAHA So true. Here's hoping guys. 2010-2020, lets hope it will be the decade that morphs Adelaide into a CITY.

well, it hasn't really been mentioned anywhere so it hasn't got much recognition to the PUBLIC but who knows? behind closed doors, there might be something going on. But looking back at Adeliades history...

Actually, it's 132m. The 3m spire was removed in 1995.

this is a kick ass proposal, would probably be the best building in adelaide if it went ahead (i like it just as much, if not more than the 20-22 currie st proposal!). a small thin spire on two of the four corners (45 degree angle) would make it look even nicer - kind of like NY WTC3 except 2 instead of 4

Can this happen... LIKE NOW.

This and Harris Scarfe would be awesome. Wonderful additions to the skyline.

I love how things are starting to move for Adelaide... forthis decade. I'm not saying it will ALL happen BUT it seems the city is making way for an amazing ten years.

Small projects like the lighting around the city, a tone of upgrades and refurbishments... all making way for larger projects. Possible new hospital and medical centre, Torrens upgrade, Adelaide Oval revamp, Franklin St and all that it COULD become, Tower 4 potencially becoming out cities tallest... I hope this and so much more, can happen. Was in the city tonight. Friday nights are now quite bustling. Big improvement over the past five years.

Urgh it is Adelaide citizens like THAT that piss me off.

'Oh Adelaide is a shit hole'.

Yet when something gets proposed, some great change comes about, they will be the first to whinge and hate without any kind of consutructive ciritism. **** off and let Adelaide move forward, KTHXBI!

HAHAHA bring it!

the good thing is that its only like 3 or 4 people that post like 20 Adelaidenow comments pretending to be different people to make it look like Adelaide is the cynical asswhipe of Australia

Adelaidenow's polls are exactly the same, people distort the voting using proxy sites to get "their way"

The vast majority of Adelaide wouldn't really give a toss if a thousand 500m building was built in the middle of the city. As long as it doesn't raise the cost of petrol, grocery and retail, Adelaideans will be happy

TBH I don't think many Adelaideans would even notice if a 200m building was built lol.

I always dreamed that this building would become a reality, not soley for it's potential impact on the skyline, but for it's sheer architectural sophistication. Adelaide doesn't have anything like this currently. Here's to hoping it's the same proposal!
