Come to think of it all these indo alrlines are not really targeting malaysian but their own people!Is it not cheaper to operate out of malacca then KLIA/LCCT or Subang.

Malacca International Airport is not the only airport in Malaysia that serves only international flights. I believe Ipoh Airport is also serving international flights (Firefly flights Ipoh to Singapore). These two airports have one thing in common, both are so close to KLIA (in fact Malacca International Airport is closer to both KLIA and Singapore Changi Airport).

so somebody might want to smack MAHB bosses in their head to formulate a plan for these 2 airport to serve as city airport and play complimentary to KLIA..

Malacca having its own airline i think.
Called Heritage Air.
News were published in Melaka Hari Ini 2nd dec.
Flying to Bandung from RM999 package if not mistaken.
Starts flying 15th dec.
Plan to fly 10times a week.

no wonder the flight still didnt arrive in mkz late last night

A Malaysian chartered aircraft carrying 81 passengers and crew was reportedly detained by the Indonesian Armed Forces at the Djuanda International Airport in Surabaya yesterday afternoon for allegedly entering Indonesian air space without permission.

The Kompas.com news portal quoted Indonesian military spokesman First Admiral Iskandar Sitompul as saying that the BAE 146-200 aircraft left Dili, Timor Leste, and landed at the airport at 12.45pm yesterday.

The report said that the aircraft had been given permission to enter Indonesian air space, but the agent for the flight failed to secure landing rights.
