Put a MUJI, H&M and ZARA and we will have the best underground walkway street retail.

Went pass Bkt Bintang and took some photos of the shelters. As expected, the leaf like shelters are starting to look really dirty with dirt+rain stains.

* The images don't do justice on the roof. Take note on the joins between the leafs, looks like they were planned last minute with remaining resources.

On the plus side, the walkways have made the area much more pedestrian friendly and pretty good night ambience lighting though its a bit dark for the pedestrian.

The Special Area Draft Plan 2020 says the area’s tourism potential can be increased with an integrated public transport system and better urban design and facilities.

The draft plan includes several proposals to redevelop 11 major areas, especially new townships, in the city to make it more liveable and pedestrian-friendly

The city council has also suggested having water taxis, including boats and hovercrafts, to ferry passengers along five rivers in Petaling Jaya to reduce traffic snarls and pollution.
