Kerjasama inovatif Petronas, DBKL
![]() Oleh Helmy Abd Rahman helmy@hmetro.com.my 2010/09/18 INDUSTRI pelancongan negara dijangka melonjak apabila beberapa laluan pejalan kaki bertingkat yang sebahagiannya berhawa dingin menghubungkan beberapa kawasan tarikan utama di ibu kota siap sepenuhnya tidak lama lagi. CONTOH...model laluan pejalan kaki bertingkat berhawa dingin menghubungkan KLCC dan Hotel Impiana KLCC. Gambar kecil, Ahmad Fuad.

They should have considered an underground pass. I mean why are we not linking these buildings with underground pass and shops. All these pedestrian bridges if not done as nice as the one linking pavilion will look very obstructive.

From ETP open day.
This is what i can see for Bukit Bintang area. The plan calls for KLCC-BB shopping precinct. ![]() ![]() - Seamless connectivity between shopping malls and hotels in the KLCC-BB shopping district - Improve the business environment of the KLCC-BB area through the organisation of events - Establish KLCC-BB tourism council to develop and manage this precinct ![]() Comparisons are between KLCC-BB, Singapore's Orchard Road and HK's Causeway Bay. |

![]() Just one thing, dont allow all the beggars and "kaki pau" inside the walkaways. It will be an eyesore and also dangerous to the public especially during late night hours. |

ONLY IN MALAYSIA sudah senang mau lagi senang!!!Why does it have to be elevated in the first place?Just imagine if the money spent upgrading the present walkways by just widening it where possible, planting more shady trees! It seems every 10 years KL will have new tiles or interlocking new walkways so much waste!!Nothing is ever build to last another 100 years!

First Phase Of Covered Walkway To Be Ready In February
September 29, 2010 00:11 AM http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v5....php?id=531152 KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- The first phase of the covered pedestrian walkway project being built in the city will be ready in February next year, Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Datuk Raja Zainal Abidin said. He said the walkway, which would also be equipped with facilities for the disabled people, was built to encourage the public to use public transport to reduce traffic congestion. Raja Nong Chik, who visited the "Pedestrian Linkage" project near the Pasar seni on Tuesday, said the walkway between the Pasar Seni LRT station and Pasar Seni was now 90 per cent completed, while the walkway between the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) building at Jalan Raja Laut to the Bandaraya station was 40 per cent completed. Work on the walkway from the Bandaraya station and Medan Tuanku is 10 per cent completed, he added. He said a covered walkway between the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) and Impiana Hotel KLCC, being built by KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Petronas, was also scheduled for completion in February next year. -- BERNAMA
