BMTC and it's scientific ideas.....

Read this for reference: http://bangalorebuzz.blogspot.com/20...ded-buses.html

Scientific approach

The new bus will have a scientific approach for entry and exits. Hence it has introduced what is called ‘the three-door’ model. The main door in the centre of the bus will be used only for entry. The entry will be segregated - women get in from the left of the entrance and once inside, move to the front of the bus for their seats, reserved for women only. The men get in from the right side of the main entrance and move to the back of the bus for their seats. Again, the exits for women and men are separate - women alight from the front door, while men alight from the rear door.
Isn't that kind of stupid?
I mean, buses ALWAYS will have more men than women, so won't it make more sense to have 2 entry/exit points for men rather than women?
This is utter rubbish and leads to more chaos, they should follow the BEST Undertaking of Mumbai and keep the rear-entry, front-exit system which is efficient.

Also, what's with the closing doors?
I've had my hand injured once, my friend had his right hand in a plaster a week before his exam. What's with the stupidity?
And te case of doors failing to open is also there...and I've seen it as often as I've travelled to college.

I am sorry sudheesh but this has got to be the height of this guy's stupidity..

If you are some one with an impaired brain u are allowed to make comments like these.. Closing doors are a safety feature which can be found all over the world in most buses..

In case u do not want them get a time machine and travel a 100 years back in time and dont come back, u scientist!!!!

Mods, before u delete my post, do we really need this thread.. another one for unwanted criticism with some personal agenda

Safety?
Safety?
What kind of safety?
If every bus driver learned to drive safely we wouldn't need thes darn doors.
Atleast they should keep doors which function propelry, and don't go Open-Close-Open-Close-Open, and then shut on us...
I'm not a leper, I was saved because of another guy yelling at the driver.
I mean, look at Mumbai, they don't have doors except for the Starbuses...
When I lived in Mumbai, I was carefree, no doors to bruise me up like in Bengaluru...
