The blue ones are called "Superstrada" or (plural) "Superstrade". As far as I know the main differences between those and "Autostrada" are that Superstrade are toll free, have -evidently- a lower speed limit, the width of the traffic lanes is usually lower.

I think that the speed limits in EU must be the same in the different countries. For example Bulgaria changed the max. allowed speed on Motorways from 120 to 130 to when the government agreed on some of the chapters for our EU membership.

I believe daylights are necessary only during winter months by new law.

In Denmark you must have your lights turned on, infact you can´t even switch it off.
