Where will this beautiful tower be in relation to the one discussed in this thread?
Mexico City is really amazing. It's one of the most historic cities in the world, yet architecturally avante guarde. http://skyscrapernews.com/news.php?ref=2473

This animation, made by Mexican Forumer luisja, will give you a very good idea of where are the 3 new skyscrapers located:

That's a great video. It seems that all of the magnificent towers are near one another.
I'm really impressed with Mexico City and its thousands of years of history. I wish I could attend Mexico's bicentennial as a country (at least in its current form) this year. |

Btw, this is not the "show off the Mexico City skyline" thread either so please stick to posting relevant information about the Torre Reforma project.

![]() This is how Torre Reforma is supposed to look from behind. I love how it matches Torre Mayor's back. ![]() These images are taken from the official Internet Site of the Tower (thanks to GERARDORS), showing how the old Construction has been moved in order to build the 9 underground parking levels. Once that has been done, the house will be brought back to its original position: ![]()

Can't be sure about that building in particular, but the reconstruction and cultural cleansing started with gusto in about 1680 onwards, this building wont be later than 1750 Edit: It was built in the 1920s, but is of the style Last edited by Wheatley; March 30th, 2010 at 01:07 AM. |
