Mexico City is really amazing. It's one of the most historic cities in the world, yet architecturally avante guarde.

That's a great video. It seems that all of the magnificent towers are near one another.

I'm really impressed with Mexico City and its thousands of years of history. I wish I could attend Mexico's bicentennial as a country (at least in its current form) this year.

For those who haven´t noticed this is the Torre Reforma thread, NOT the "top 10 cities in the Americas" thread, so if you people want to start a discussion about that subject then please take it somewhere else.

Btw, this is not the "show off the Mexico City skyline" thread either so please stick to posting relevant information about the Torre Reforma project.

This is how Torre Reforma is supposed to look from behind. I love how it matches Torre Mayor's back.

These images are taken from the official Internet Site of the Tower (thanks to GERARDORS), showing how the old Construction has been moved in order to build the 9 underground parking levels. Once that has been done, the house will be brought back to its original position:

Can't be sure about that building in particular, but the reconstruction and cultural cleansing started with gusto in about 1680 onwards, this building wont be later than 1750

It was built in the 1920s, but is of the style

Reforma432 is currently on Site Preparation, expected to begin foundations in Q1-2011.

There are a lot of buildings with more than 10 underground level such as Residencial del Bosque which have 14 underground both towers.
