I can't believe how slow it is. No wonder everyone uses the tram... Even walking is faster than Moscow's monorail...

Hi,
I am interested to find out more about the deployment of linier electric motors and Russian manufactures venture companies.
I understand from your blog that you have an idea about Intamin transportation Company and their efferent’s to promote growth in the monorail industry. If you have any information in support of Russian electric transportation system, could you kindly let me have any web contract addresses?

I think it would have been far better if the rolling stock had been much larger and longer, capable to hold some 1000 passengers per train. But I guess this would have provoked reinforcing the bearing and the "rail".

Why? Moscow monorail looks very modern and even beautiful.

Is there a monorail plough? How is snow and ice cleared off the rail?

I like it, it doesn't appear all that invasive of the streetscape. I never imagined monorail functioning alright wintertime.

(Funny how the tram's designed to resemble a bus [seven posts above].)

It never ceases to amaze me as to how ignorant many rail fans are when it comes to monorail. Come on guys, please do a little homework before slamming every monorail on the planet!

Monorails are excellent in any kind of weather as the track/wheel contact is under the beam...........no amount of snow or ice can effect it unlike Vancouver SkyTrain.
Monorails can be very effective mass transit movers which is why new systems are being constructed and are planned worldwide for regular transit {not zoos or amuzement parks} but the Moscow Monorail , although I like the look of the trains, does seem painfully slow.
Why exactly is it so slow?
