this is in a similar state of construction than the wharf ifc in changsha and both buildings are the same height, this might become a really nice race upwards

The first of those pictures looks like it was taken as the photographer fell into the pit. It's a very weird angle, but the sight of the concrete edge along the bottom of the picture is reassuring. At least he was standing on something while pressing the camera button.

a crucial part in modern construction technique is laying colorful striped blankets on the floor, this so called super fabric will hold the whole structure once completed. this is the newest high-technology invention of china, which together with the colorful, yet powerful pouring-umbrellas, previously seen in an earlier stage of the Ping An Financial Center development in Shenzhen marks a new era of highrise construction.

Why don't they use just rebar and concrete? many other supertalls are built that way too. Why

I assume you are referring to the big chunk of steel?
They use prefabricated pieces like that because it is quicker an easier. Think of it as a pre-assembled re-bar cage without having to assemble hundreds of steel rods.

Anyone know why the structure holding open the hole and the foundations don't match? was there a redesign at some point?
