The site is bigger than the current parking lot...it will be using the land right up against the tracks.

GO is no longer apart of this project, last i heard they moved to Union.

This is New York style density, get used to it. As lots get filled up every available piece of land will be utilized somehow.

project launch - really?

Having not even launched pre-sales, I can't imagine this one going before 2015 or 2020.

wow. real tight fit then, eh.

i hope they have some serious sound proofing, with the trains and all literally right beside......could serve as an unwelcome 6am wake up call LOL

I dont understand how if they couldnt get the podeum rented with enough retail or whatever in L tower why they would be able to get it rented here. PLus this retail is going to be boring.. Its better then nothing but knowing we coulda had it in L tower is VERY disapointing.... I like how this will have PATH connections tho.. WIll L tower be connected to the PATH as well?

there is a rumour over at UT that this will now be designed by Daniel Libeskind - it will contain the parking for the L Tower...and there will be an above-grade pedestrian bridge betweeen the 2 structures...

/just a rumour for now.....

Good luck for Liebskind, if that is the case. North Americans seem to have difficulty "getting" his architecture.

Not sure if this is a new or old design but I thought people would like to see it anyway. Uninspired to say the least.

It's being redesigned. It may even be another L tower.

I still don't see how anything could fit on that lot other than a large parkette >_<

The nighttime render looks encouraging, but it's daytime visuals that play the biggest role.

By pot_pie on UT.

Looks like there's some action on the Backstage site -- hoarding is up along the rail tracks and there is a crane there this morning that looks ready to lift an excavator or something onto the site.

Huh? It's called Backstage, not Backdoor.
