Nese gjerat do shkonin siç ishin parashikuar(Nese kompania "Plus" do te perfundonte infrastrukturen e duhur dhe do hidhej ne treg ne 15 tetor sikurse ishte planifikuar) ..3g do te ishte e "Plus-it" sigurisht.Duke qënë se diku nga mesi i 2011-ës shteti do te japi edhe nje license tjeter per 3g..qe kjo periudhe duhet te perkoj fiks edhe me daljen ne treg te "Plus"-it.Kjo e fundit eshte kandidat kryesor per ta marre licensen e radhes.


Bashke me Vodafon dhe Eagle ne garë fillimisht ishin edhe AMC me Plus..por u terhoqen keto ditet e fundit.Une e dija qe "plus" kishte hyre ne treg prandaj thashë se duhet ta marre ajo me patjeter(se dihen lidhjet e ketyre biznesmeneve me qeverine)..por meqe qenkan vonuar...tenderi smund te priste.

Albania awards Vodafone 3G licence

Vodafone has secured Albania’s first 3G licence by bidding €31.4 million. The offer was more than twice the €12.5 million price tag set by the Albanian telecoms regulator, AKEP.
Vodafone’s bid was higher than the €12.6 million bid submitted by Turkish-owned rival, Eagle Mobile. Vodafone will be responsible for ensuring network coverage of 35% of the country within six months of licensing, rising to 65% in 12 and 85% in 18 months.
Vodafone will have to pay for the licence within seven days and launch commercial services within two months of the licence award. The company will make annual payments of around €168,148.
Albania is one of the last countries in the region to issue a 3G licence. There are four 2G operators in the country, including both of the competitors for the 3G licence, plus Cosmote’s Albanian Mobile Communications and Plus Communication. GTB

Vodafone Albania launches its 3G network

Vodafone Albania has launched the country’s first 3G network with coverage initially available in the capital city-Tirana and its suburbs. By starting the 3G operations initially in Tirana and soon in other cities, Vodafone will provide Internet speed of up to 14.4 Mbps.

According to Mr. Haris Broumidis, CEO of Vodafone Albania the company is pleased to offer to the inhabitants of Tirana the 3G technology experience, which will provide them fast access to internet, a number of new services and the most advantageous tariff plans. Vodafone Albania as the leading and most innovative telecommunications company in the country, believes that 3G will revolutionize the way Albanian families and businesses use their mobiles and access to internet.

After Tirana, 3G services will be extended to all current and new Vodafone customers across the country within 18 months.

Celularët, tarifa të reja nga 1 Marsi

TIRANE-Nga data 1 mars do të nisë një ulje e re e tarifave me shumicë të telefonisë celulare, që do të vazhdojë për katër vjet, duke synuar të çojë tarifat drejt kostos efektive.
Sipas burimeve zyrtare nga Autoriteti i Komunikimeve Elektronike dhe Postare (AKEP), ulja e tarifave me shumicë do t'ju krijojë operatorëve hapësirën për të konkurruar me tarifa më të ulëta për thirrjet midis rrjeteve të ndryshme. Për operatorët më të mëdhenj, AMC dhe Vodafone, tarifa, nga 10.5 lekë/minuta, do të kalojë, nga data 1 mars, në 8.85 lekë/minuta. Për kompaninë Eagle Mobile, nga 12.92 lekë/minuta, që është aktualisht, do të bëhet 10.89 lekë/minuta, ndërsa për kompaninë Plus, nga 19.9 lekë/ minuta, do të bëhet 15.93 lekë/ minuta. Gjithashtu ulje do të ketë edhe për SMS-të. Për AMC dhe Vodafone, tarifa e terminimit barazohet me tarifën mesatare në vendet e BE-së në vitin 2009, të publikuar në Raportin e 15-të KE, prej 6.7 cent, duke përdorur kursin mesatar të këmbimit prej 132.06 lekë/euro për vitin 2009.
AKEP ka vendosur, gjithashtu, t'u kërkojë operatorëve celularë të ulin tarifat me shumicë edhe për mesazhet e shkruara, të cilat sot janë shumë më të larta se kostot.

Albania did NOT use FM-broadcasting before 1990, only AM (MW and SW)
