That is Aranese language, the variety of Occitan (Daniel shared another example not a long ago) spoken in Aran Valley. I like these signs.

Here is another example, in a confirmation sign of N-230 north of Bossòst, with "State Road Network" in Aranese Occitan, Catalan and Spanish.

In the bottom box it has 2 lines of English with a gap then the same in Welsh, then the last bit is one line in each with no gap. I bet hardly anyone in the area speaks Welsh regularly as this is south Wales.

Not written in Spanish, proceed as if it was a regular street.

Is it true that all signs on Spanish territory must (also) be in Castellan Spanish to be valid?
The "blue zone" parking signs in Palma de Mallorca are in Catalan only.

That's so matter of opinion......

If you are in a territory with two official languages you are entitled to use both of them but you are requested to understand both of them...

Can you understand what it says? Yes. Can you understand the symbols? Yes.

No, and if they de jure have to be de facto they don't. It does depend on whether or not the road is managed by the local or the central government though.

It is clear. If simbols/signals are clearly identified... no text required.

Let's make simple.

I noticed this in an old picture on the Mozambican forums, the text at the stop line reads PARE rather than STOP.

That's common in Latin America (also on the STOP (PARE) signs).

One of the pictures of "Guantanamera" movie shows a person with a "pare" signal.

I think that in Cuba the signal is the same but they do not use English on them.

LOL. I have passed that sign many times in the last couple of months (as I am a regular visitor to the 'gouvernement' in Maastricht), but never noticed this obvious error...

If it is in Maastricht shouldn't be written Luik or at most Luik/Liège?

Dutch policy is to sign the name of the city. The name of the city is not Luik, but Liège.
