yeah...correct. they should have consider the influx of tourists esp now that the underground river is on the top spot in the new 7 wonders of the world. expect more tourists to come both local and foreign alike in the next year, and besides palawan has the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Airport to get $71.6m

http://www.manilastandardtoday.com/?...7_april20_2009

THE government is borrowing $71.6 million from South Korea to rehabilitate the Puerto Princesa Airport in Palawan province, documents showed.

The National Economic and Development Authority says the project was appraised at $92.1 million based on an exchange rate of 47.4 pesos to the dollar.

Around $71.61 million or 78 percent of that amount is to be financed by the Korean Export-Import Bank, and the balance provided by the Philippine government.

The project involves the construction of a new passenger terminal to accommodate domestic and international flights, and in compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization standards. It is expected to be completed in 2013. Roderick T. dela Cruz

this is good news then.
so that means the airport building which is still under renovation at the moment will be renovated again? or a new terminal building will be constructed?

They haven't started the main terminal building yet.
What you saw is just an annex building in guise of renovation to relieved congestion long experienced at the airport terminal.

Just wait and see!
