In Paris train stations, we can see TGV, Eurostar, Thalys and ICE. I'm not sure there are many other cities where we can such a large variety of high speed trains.

Maybe Brussels?

Gosh! ICE is an example of quality, just a role model. I hope sooner or later see these high speed trains.

According to news the ICE 3 will use the new LGV between Aachen and Liège from 14th of June 2009.
The TGV will use the old line till the end of 2009 because the Thalys train sets have no ETCS Level 2 until then.

What's the current travel time between Brussels-South and Cologne, and by how much will the travel time be shortened by this new track between Liège and Aachen?

I only know that the travel time between Cologne and Paris will be 3:15 h from end 2009.
From summer 2009 the ICE will use the new LGV on it's way between Cologne and Brussels, but the Thalys has to wait till the end of 2009.
