The rest I'll work on closer to the time

Already apply 4 ticket for Durban in group stage. I'll think about Quarter Final and Semi in Durban. I would like to go Fan park in Soccer City final.

Applied for the maximum possible ie 4 tickets, 7 games incl final, semi (CT) 1x qtr, 1x 2nd Rnd and 3x group games at Ellis and SC.

Just a mental calculation. Assuming a million tickets applied for with 2/3 going overseas. That leaves 333000 local subscriptions. Lets say 70% choose Cat 4, that would imply about 220000 tickets applied for by locals for 64 games. Again, assuming 20% of the stadium will be Cat 4, and that the distritution of games will be for high-profile matches (ie opening game, semis, finals etc). This gives very good odds for anyone to get tickets for most group games and really amazing odds (compared to previous world cups) of getting to watch a semi or a final. Hey Mo - you're the actuary - what do you think?

Vrystaat will be able to give a better breakdown of the proportion of seats for cat 1-4.

I've applied for 3 R1 matches in CT, QF and SF in CT

Still waiting for confirmation wrt to hospitality packages.

But probably first weekend in PE, second in Durban, and the Sunday Match at Soccer City for R16.

Also intend on watching the England matches depending on the final draw.

I still think we have an unprecedented chance to secure tickets for a WC. Germany 2006was oversubscribed 10-fold for all matches at this stage of ticket sales!

Mo - you'll have to wait until December (3rd sales phase) for England tickets - and then you'll be competing with loads of English fans and for expensive Cat-1-3 tickets, me thinks.

Yip. I am prepared to wait.
