less than 40km from Guangzhou, actually there are buildings in between that you cant tell that's two cities
few days ago I heard Guangzhou and Foshan had merged into one city?

anyone can confirm this?
if not, I think they will definitely merge someday...

Anyway, Foshan is getting tons of projects. Shui On is planning a 430m tower, currently under design by SOM. Also, R&F Properties announced an 80 floor tower last year.

Shunde used to be an independent city, but merged with Foshan many years ago. Foshan and guangzhou will be merged into one city someday

It's a massive conurbation that will also include shenzen kowloon and hong kong, but not shanghai yet.

@ KanzantiP, rather than pointlessly trail and revive old threads, whether there is news or not, it's best to await an update from a Moderator or from someone who has information from the company themselves. If you don't hear any news on it, leave it until you hear something concrete.

quite a nice boxy tower. i think the box buildings in China, although all have a box shape, are distinct from each other
