This place is called Volta Mantovana, a few miles south of the Desenzano toll station on the A4-East.

If you mean picture#2, that's most unfortunately a private mansion...

Well. it may be a nice detour if you're around. It's bycicle paradise, I was sitting at a bar and spotted a few hundred folks working on their pedals...plus scores of antique cars and motorbikes, customized low riders and even a a couple of extra chrome trikes...too bad I stowed away my camera. It was a "joie de vivre" parade...

Una piccola citta assolutamente squisita che ho visitato qualche anno fa. Uno dei miei migliori ricordi in Italia era la visita della camera degli sposi nel palazzo ducale. Purtroppo non ho avuto il tempo di visitare il palazzo Te e gli affreschi di scene di baccanale.
