Bacardi and Parthas are coming together for the second time. They conducted a DJ nite at Leela in Feb 09 from 7.00 pm to 3.30 am.

It was a smash hit. Huge crowd!!!!

When 19-year-old Yanina Wickmayer played the winning shot and ensured a place in the final four at this year’s US Open, Thiruvananthapuram teamed up with Brussels to cheer her. Tennis lovers in the capital city have already begun prayers to ensure that Yanina wins her first Grand Slam.

Two years ago, Yanina had amazed spectators here with her magic serves and mesmerising volleys. She, along with Lauren Albanese, had won the women’s doubles crown in the Kerala Open - 2007, hosted by the Trivandrum Tennis Club (TTC). It was an International Tennis Women’s Federation (ITWF) Tennis Tournament with USD 25,000 as prize money. Yanina had also put up a strong fight in the women’s singles, reaching the semi-finals.

Aqeel is one of India's top rated DJs.

And nice to see that the performance is till 3.30 AM, in a public place. India normally shuts down at 11.30 PM in most metros/cities and at 1.30 AM in few cities like Mumbai.

Only in Dubai I had a chance of being in a Disco till 3.30 AM. Hope some other time I can join with you guys for such an occasion in Trivandrum

Had met with TDF stalwarts at Indrapuri, Vanross Jn when I was in Trivandrum for Onam. We had earlier met at the 'KEYS' hotel also.

No points in guessing the man in black

and the President with his 6+ foot stature.
