Al-Khawam Tower

I've noticed a sign up and some heavy digging going on just one street opposite the Abdali project. The sign has a rendering of an impressive tower called 'Al-Khawam tower'. The name 'Khawam' is a well-known Iraqi surname and certainly the one who owns Teebah Airlines and Alia shipping comes into mind. I hope to take a pic of the sign shortly. Any one has any idea about this?

I haven’t heard of a project called 'Al-Khawam Tower', however a picture of the render may jog my memory.

Ok, managed to take a quick photo of the sign and its rendering while waiting on the traffic light. Tower looks massive and the design is very futuristic. It is exactly opposite the Abdali project on the intersection going to Arab bank street. Any one knows more on this project?

Thanks Thunderbolt for the pics.

This project has a total building area of 14,000 m2 and a total rentable space of 8500 m2. It's 21 floors including 4 underground parking floors.

Here's a great group of its renders, enjoy!

Passed the site yesterday and I'm happy to report the construction was bustling with workers.

The tower is now around 7 storeys high.

Pictures coming soon.
