Entebbe, Central Uganda.
Entebbe is a town 37km South west of Kampala. It is the gateway to Uganda. I guess I should start with the Airport. image hosted on flickr ![]() Nice roads. image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() MTN Billboard saying 'we are as Kenyan as Nyama Choma'- Wow, Nyama Choma is the only thing they could think of to define Kenya. image hosted on flickr

Fort Portal, Western Uganda.
This town is 311km west of Kampala. It is the seat of both the Kabarole district and the Toro kingdom and is at the base of the Rwenzori mountains. Pop in 2002: 41,000. The best place to start I think is the palace. The seat of the Toro kingdom. image hosted on flickr ![]() Fort Portal town pics. image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() Well maintained old shops (wish Jinja could copy this). image hosted on flickr ![]() Hima cement factory. image hosted on flickr ![]() Countryside.
